The surveyor safety vest is crafted with orange polyester mesh and black binding for high visibility and durability. It is flame retardant and self-extinguishing under the ASTM D6413 test method, although these properties diminish with washing and it should never be used where arc flash or fire hazards are present. This vest meets Class 2, ANSI / ISEA 107-2015 standards, featuring 2" silver reflective tape on 4" lime fabric for a two-tone high-visibility effect. For enhanced comfort, the vest includes a neck cushion. It has a zipper front closure, mic tab, flagging tape grommets, and two radio clip holders. The vest offers ample storage with 12 pockets: one upper left chest pocket with flap and four pen holders, one upper right chest pocket with flap, two front lower pockets with flaps, two front lower radio/water bottle pockets, one large back pocket, one inside upper chest pocket, two inside lower zipper pockets, and two front open lower pockets.
